Lynden City Park get a new Trail
Thanks to an Eagle Scout's project, Lynden's City Park has a new winding trail that connects the Jim Kaemingk Sr. trail to the YMCA. He had to learn to operate a tractor, donated by Scholten's Equipment, to scrape the ground flat. Volunteers helped pound in reinforcement bar to set the trail width and then, again using the tractor, filled it with wood chips to ensure there were no tripping hazards.
