Whatcom County is finally getting the much anticpated Trader Joe's store. It is occupying a familiar space on the corner of James Street and Alabama which used to house the Red Apple Grocery Store (but us long-timers knew it as Clark's Market).

The Editor, Marian Yunghans, of the Pacific Northwest Retirement Magazine left to be more involved with AARP at the State level. (Article in December's issue.) Replacing Marian is Carolyn Leeper.
