Bellingham company goes from home to store
The couple operated an online store called Kangaroodle.com and sold to people all over the U.S. Several local customers found out the store was based in Bellingham and they started coming to the Allen's home to see what all they had in their inventory! They knew it was time for a brick-and-mortar store.
The store focuses on gifts for babies and their moms, but it’s not the kind of place where you’ll find the traditional stuff. Allen said she wanted products geared toward the “hip, modern mom,” which includes lots of gifts with bright, bold patterns.
Many of you have probably seen the seat cover for babies/kids in shopping carts. An excellent idea that developed and grew until they had added store full of unique items for moms and babies.
